Akil Baddoo is a 2016 OF/LHP with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Conyers, GA who attends Salem HS. Strong athletic build, lots of quick twitch muscle. Left handed hitter, slightly open stance with a low hand start, very good raw bat speed, puts back spin on the ball and has big power, looks to pull the ball but will make adjustments in games as well, swing is short and fluid and will translate well against higher level pitching. 6.69 runner, athletic actions on defense, fields the ball cleanly, front side tends to fly off early on throws limiting arm strength, centerfield tools. Has been a consistently high performance player at all major events over the last year. National level prospect. Signed with Kentucky.
