Harrison Beers is a 2016 1B/RHP with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Macon, GA who attends Mt De Sales Academy. Tall and slender build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, narrow open stance, big leg lift trigger and long stride causes timing problems, swings hard with a short line drive swing, looks to pull the ball, 7.39 runner, has good footwork around the first base bag, tends to field the ball close to his body, long and loose arm action. Also pitched, sidearm pitching style is effective, mid-70's fastball gets big sinking and tailing action and works consistently down in the strike zone. Big sweeping frisbee slider with 9/3 shape. Tends to slow arm on change up but gets similar big diving action. Mixes his pitches well. Likely has a higher ceiling at present developing his pitching.
