DeShawn Lookout is a 2016 OF/SS with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Oklahoma City, OK who attends Westmoore HS. Outstanding athletic build, long and lean with good present strength and room for plenty more. 6.88 runner, plus arm strength from both the infield and outfield, shows his athleticism at both positions, really gets rid of the ball quickly, actions are more natural in the outfield at present but projects at third base with repetitions as he continues to grow. Right handed hitter, spread stance, busy hand load leaves him late at times, short and direct swing to the ball, has some lift and lots of power potential, plenty of raw bat speed, will continue to improve at the plate with adjustments. All the tools are there to be a very high level prospect. Good student, verbal commitment to Oklahoma.
