Riley Hood is a 2015 SS/C with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Rosenberg, TX who attends Foster HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, spread open stance, leg raise trigger, low hand start, good loose extension through the zone, can get long at times but has good bat speed and shift through contact, bit uphill at times. 7.12 runner, quick feet and shows range defensively, tends to field the ball underneath his body at times, quick release with some arm strength, charges the ball well, looks like a versatile player athletically on defense. Good student.
