Austin Pharr is a 2015 3B/OF, SS with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Waleska, GA who attends Cherokee. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulder and a well proportioned, strong build with strength that plays and some quick twitch. Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, shows fluid actions to the ball, rounds it well, quick reflexes, works through the ball with soft hands and a short and quick arm action on accurate throws across. Left-handed hitter, starts with a wide stance and shows an aggressive approach. Upper body swing, creates nice separation and shows a quick bat coming through the zone. Quick hands, creates very good leverage in swing with easy strength and carry to pull side which he showed both in batting practice and during in game action. Verbal commitment to Kennesaw State. Named to Southeast Top Prospect List. Very good student.
