Jared McKay is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Stone Mountain, GA who attends Chamblee Charter HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength with room for more. Outstanding speed, 6.42 in the sixty, was aggressive and used his speed well on the bases and in the outfield. Solid outfield actions and athleticism, moves to the ball well, low release point on throws can be raised but has good raw arm strength. Right handed hitter, rotational swing with good looseness and extension out front, line drive swing plane, hits to all fields and can get the ball to the gaps, projects offensively. Speed stands out but the rest of the tools are there to be developed. Good student.
