Dillon Brophy is a 2012 C/OF with a 5-11 177 lb. frame from Villa Park, CA who attends Villa Park HS. Medium build, some present strength. 7.34 runner, quick athletic actions behind the plate, receives the ball well, very short/compact release and arm action, more arm strength there with better footwork and weight transfer, 2.07 best pop time, can also play the outfield. Left handed hitter, low hand set up, busy approach, opens early and looks to pull, short to the ball on the inside half, tends to hit around the outside half, will improve with better direction to the ball. Very good student.
