Forrester Smith is a 2015 RHP with a 6-1 182 lb. frame from Vero Beach, FL who attends Vero Beach HS. Large athletic build, some present strength with room for more. High leg raise delivery, good drive from his lower half, tends to land open out front, long loose arm action. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, very good arm side running action at times with downhill plane as well. Nice change up with sink as well. Slider is his out pitch and he could use it more often, spin is tight and its located well down in the zone. Maintains his delivery and release point on all pitches and throws nothing straight. Promising pitchability and has the potential to keep improving his raw stuff. Good student.
