Scott Zimmer is a 2014 RHP with a 6-6 265 lb. frame from Moorestown, NJ who attends Moorestown. XL frame, thick build, good present strength. Pitches with a short arm action, good arm strength, heavy on front foot, good tailing action to arm side and showed ability to run fastball in on hands of right handers. Slurvy breaking ball with good spin rate, can improve spin direction to sharpen break. Splitter used as changeup with good drop and deception. Chance to increase velocity with better control of momentum through delivery, will need to improve conditioning to hold momentum deeper in games, heavy fastball, good arm speed and strength. Chance to improve upon quality present stuff, good upside. Verbal commitment to Delaware.
