Stephen Alemais is a 2013 MIF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Elev8 Sports Institute. He has an extremely athletic build and continues to get stronger at each event he attends. He possesses true SS actions as well as an above average arm to go along with soft hands and very quick release. Showed very good arm strength at 91 mph across the diamond during the IF workout portion of the event and made a couple of difficult plays look routine during the game. Switch hitter with a very similar set up on both sides. He has a wide set up and short simple swing mechanics with very good bat speed and excellent balance. Gets a little more out of the lower half in his right handed swing but has legitimate switch hitting tools. Outstanding all around player. Committed to Tulane.
