Charles Perdue is a 2013 LHP/1B with a 5-10 142 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Westlake HS. Young slender build, high waist. Slow paced deliberate wind up, 3/4's release point, compact arm circle in back, long and loose out front, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball up to 80 mph, good arm side run at times, will throw fastball to spots. Big breaking 71 mph curveball, sweeping action at times, gets downer bite when he stays on top of the ball. Has gained 3-5 mph since the summer, should continue to improve with strength.
