Karl Blum is a 2013 RHP/IF with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Toms River, NJ who attends Toms River North HS. Long and strong body, some projection remaining. Very slow paced and simple turn/throw delivery, lands closed with a short stride, high 3/4's arm slot. Steady upper 80's velocity, topped at 89 mph, maintained velocity from stretch, mostly straight with very good downhill angle. Inconsistent curveball release, good spin with bite and depth from regular release point, tends to drop slot at times and flatten out, also lowers release point on developing change up. More in arm with adjustments and consistency.
