Kavan Thompson is a 2012 MIF/3B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Merritt Island, FL who attends Central Catholic HS. Athletic build, body projects well. Aggressive hitting approach, short compact swing, good setup, balanced, line-drive contact, good swing bat. Strong arm in the field, soft hands, feet work well, athletic actions, moves well to the ball. Very strong student.
