Andrew Preston is a 6'4", 175 lb. right handed pitcher from Newport News, Virginia. Andrew has a lean pitcher's body with above average arm speed. Andrew throws from a mid 3/4 arm slot with a slight cross body stride. His fastball works at 80-82 mph to go along with a 67 mph curveball and a 72 mph change up. He does slow his arm on his off speed pitches and tends to tip hitters. His curveball shows decent spin with 11/5 tilt and good depth. Andrew has a body that will continue to add strength. He should continue to add velocity, and should be able to compete well at the next level.
