Dylan Covey is a 2010 RHP with a 6'2'', 200 lb. frame from Pasadena, CA who attends Maranatha HS. Strong, athletic build. Did not pitch due to minor injury, top level pitching prospect, plus FB/CB in Fall. Mid 90s with life and command. Very sharp breaking ball. Highest level power pitcher and potential MLB workhorse. Very good all around athlete, 6.90 runner, bat speed hitting, power approach, takes an aggressive hack, two-way college potential. Possible first round pick on the mound. Verbal to San Diego.
