Joseph O'Donnell is a 2006 third baseman/right handed pitcher from Millville, NJ with a lean build at 5-11, 160 lbs. Defensively, he has very good hands with smooth actions and a quick transfer. He has a quick arm that shows good strength at 82 mph across the infield. He ranges well in all directions with good footwork. He hits from a balanced stance with a short compact swing. He attacks pitches on the inside half of the plate and he makes solid contact. He is a smart player and he runs the bases well. He pitches from a high 3/4 to overhand arm slot and he shows effort on his delivery. His fastball is pretty straight at 81 mph. His curveball is at 65 mph, and his slider is at 73 mph. He is tough smart player and he will be a good college prospect for 2006.
