Austin Hill is a 2009 RHP with a 6'2'', 195 lb. frame from Westminster, CA who attends Marina. Hill has a medium sized frame with a taller body. He has a good build with some present strength. Hill pitches from a H 3/4 - OT arm slot with a short compact arm action. He has arm speed and his arm works. Hill pitches on a good downhill plane and he pitches with average effort. He has a clean delivery and his mechanics work pretty well. He opens up his front side a bit early, but works for him. Hill throws an 11/5 curveball with tight rotation and good break. He also throws a change up with armside run on it. Hill has good stuff and was very tough to hit at this event. He is also a very good student.
