Sebastian Perez is a 2023 RHP with a 6-3 150 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean build with room to fill throughout and grow moving forward. Right-handed pitcher, high leg lift with a big hip turn at top of delivery, long arm action through the back working to an over-the-top release point. Fastball topped out at 87 mph, tends to pull across body at release but settled in with release while living low-80s. Velocity projects well moving forward. Shows shape to curveball up to 71 mph with short depth, sinking life to changeup up to 69 mph; sequences and mixes well, lands both secondaries for strikes and able to miss bats while keeping hitters off balance. Good student.
