Ben Grable is a 2020 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Pasadena, CA who attends Flintridge Preparatory. Big and strong athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hanging leg lift load, gets to his front side well, hard hip turn creates big lower half torque, creates big leverage in his swing, did a good job staying on time, impressive raw power potential. 6.97 runner, third base actions on defense, pretty deliberate through the ball, feet are quick and balanced, will have solid range at third base, plenty of raw arm strength. Also pitched, high 3/4's to over the top release, accelerates hard down the mound. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, mostly straight, developing feel for a curveball. Elite level student, verbal commitment to Northwestern.
