Christopher Turner is a 2007 OF with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from Brandon, FL, who attends Brandon HS. Turner is an athletic player with present strength in his body. Great speed in the sixty (6.47) and in game action. Defensively he moves well in the OF with fluid action, and showed raw arm strength from an over the top arm slot. At the plate he hits with a calm approach. Turner has quick hands with good bat speed through the zone, and he makes consistent line drive contact. During game action he showed good balance at the plate with an aggressive swing. Once on the bases, Turner is very aggressive and makes things happen. He can change the game with his speed. Big upside!
