Ryan Oniel Cepero Roman is a 2021 SS/IF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Hatillo, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 6.40 runner in the sixty, very quick twitch athletic actions in all his movements. Has very advanced actions in the middle infield on defense, takes good angles to the ball with plus balance and soft hands on the move, quick release, high level arm strength with carry that plays in games. Has all the tools to be an elite level middle infielder on defense. Right handed hitter, long and loose swing with developing strength in the barrel, comfortable hitting middle away but has the ability to turn on the ball, will continue to improve as a hitter with addition hand strength. Good student, signed with Florida Southwestern College. Named to the World Showcase Top Prospect List.
