Trey Pringle is a 2021 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Columbia, SC who attends Ridge View HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.39 runner, second base actions and tools on defense, arm works well when he's on top of the ball and has some looseness, tends to field the ball underneath his body. Right handed hitter, high back elbow start, short contact oriented downhill swing path, hits to all fields and handles the barrel well. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm action with a compact arm circle in back, hides the ball well. Fastball topped out at 68 mph with occasional cutting action, developing feel for his breaking ball. Should continue to improve with strength and physical maturity. Good student.
