Luke Jewett is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-4 196 lb. frame from Ladera Ranch, CA who attends JSerra Catholic. Very athletic square shouldered build with tons of physical projection. Works from the stretch with a slow paced delivery, stays tall over the rubber, high 3/4's arm slot, works downhill well, arm is quick and clean coming through. Fastball topped out at 91 mph with nice running life. Tends to slow his arm on his curveball and change up and will get on the side of his curveball. Excellent athlete with two-way potential. 6.72 runner in the sixty. Right handed hitter with quick hands and a short and strong swing, ball comes off the barrel well with some lift. Good student, verbal commitment to UCLA.
