Benjamin Baker-Livingston is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Richardson, TX who attends Plano East. Medium to large athletic build with room to fill out as he continues to develop, posted a 7.24 second sixty yard dash time. Primary pitcher, has a short arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Some whip to his arm action. Stronger arm with a fastball up to 89 mph. Mixes in an 11-to-5 shaped slider that he's able to manipulate. Good depth with some late bite to the plate. Also throws a straight change at 78 mph. From the outfield, fields out in front and is meticulous with his reads. Plus arm strength to the plate, was gunned at 93 mph in the outfield workouts. In the infield, fields out in front and gathers well. Still understanding how to use his present length. Arm strength still plays across the diamond. At the plate, is a switch hitter with similar stances on both sides. More closed off from the left-handed batters box. Flatter barrel plane through the zone through the zone from the right side. Looks to use the middle of the field, some good pull side pop. Good student in the classroom as well. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
