Owen Hancock is a 2024 RHP/MIF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Sylvester, GA who attends Worth County. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Right-handed pitcher, up-tempo operation on the mound, crouched at start into a higher leg lift at start of delivery; compact arm action through the backside with plenty of arm speed at present, gets to a vertical slot at release. Ran fastball up to 94 mph and worked comfortably in the low-90s, projects well with more in the tank moving forward. Mixed well, slider up to 81 mph with short shape through the zone and flashed a changeup with low spin rates at 82 mph, filled the strike zone. Intriguing upside with current arsenal and long-term projection. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Ole Miss.
