Tommy Ricketts is a 2020 3B/RHP/C/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Babson Park, FL who attends Lake Wales HS. Big and strong athletic build, pretty mature physically. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a high hand load, positive weight shift and consistently on time, short swing with a middle of the field approach, ball jumps off his bat hard, has the tools to open up his swing for future power. 7.03 runner, has good arm strength in the infield on defense. Also pitched, high energy delivery, repeats it well. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, lots of late life to it, doesn't throw anything straight. Curveball has tight spin with sharp 12/6 biting action, has feel for his breaking ball and commands it well. Two-way prospect. Good student.
