John Daniel Coleman is a 2022 C/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Clyo, GA who attends Effingham County. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.40 seconds. Switch-hitter, open set from left side with high back elbow, swings hard with bat speed, stays compact with hands, shows good contact skills. More stiff from right side, length to path, whole-field approach. Primary catcher, receives well, quickness to footwork out of crouch, compact arm with accurate throws, clocked up to 75 mph. Showed good athleticism in the infield with hands that work well, comes through the ball well, clocked up to 82 mph on throws, also threw 83 mph from the outfield. Righthanded pitcher, shows good arm speed, three quarters arm slot, fastball worked 77-81 mph with good life, also shows good feel for 11/5-shaped curveball. Excellent student.
