Carlos De Los Santos is a 2017 RHP/ with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from San Juan De La Maguana, JU. Fairly large athletic frame, slopped shoulders with good present strength. Simple on line delivery with some drift into landing, high 3/4's to almost over the top release point, some upper body lean off line, medium effort on release, has a loose and whippy arm coming through. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight, some riding action up in the zone tempted hitters often. Change up is his best secondary pitch, maintains arm speed well. Not consistent in his curveball release or arm speed yet, will flash good downer depth when everything comes together.
