Hunter Donaldson is a 2020 SS/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Salem, AL who attends Smiths Station. Medium frame with lithe, athletic build and plenty of projection; ran 60 yard dash in 6.52 seconds. Hits from wide-based stance with high hands and back elbow, coiled leg lift trigger, leverages to pull, shows good ability to get the ball in the air with jump and carry, quality projection in terms of both hit and power. Primary infielder, athletic actions, bends well and extends hands into clean funnel, hands work well, quick feet to both sides with twitch and range, fields cleanly and gets into quick release, clocked up to 88 mph across the diamond. Also took outfield reps, comes in on the ball, moves through it well, extended crow hop, looseness to arm with legitimate zip out of his hand, clocked up to 92 mph on throws. Excellent student, verbally committed to South Alabama.
