Dominic Flacco is a 2021 LHP/OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Ormond Beach, FL who attends New Smyrna Beach HS. Recorded a 7.41 second 60-yard dash time. Slender and athletic frame with lots of room to fill out and add strength. Primary lefthanded pitcher who works exclusively from the stretch. Slower tempo with a deliberate leg lift to the belt. Good linear direction down the mound and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot. Clean arm path and can get the fastball to the arm side edge nicely. Good feel to spin the curveball with sharp break, late depth, and 11/5 shape. Can locate the fastball nicely to both edges. Attacks hitters well and fills up the zone. Secondary outfielder with very good arm strength, aggressive actions, and a clean path to release. Works through the ball well with good accuracy and arm strength. Lefthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and some whip to the barrel head. Hips work well through the ball and gets the barrel out in front. Direct path to contact and gets the barrel head out nicely to drive the ball to both gaps. Good student.
