Andrue Henry is a 2020 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-4 230 lb. frame from Dubuque, IA who attends Hempstead. Primary first baseman with a physical frame and some present strength. Has clean footwork around the bag, with clean transfers into accurate throws to bases at 79 miles per hour. Also worked out at third base, showcasing some impressive range to the glove side. Has a confident glove with clean transfers to throw, making accurate throws across the diamond at 80 miles per hour. Has an upright and even stance at the plate, showcasing a high intent swing and a gap-to-gap approach. Has an elevated path to contact with present bat speed, and is able to get some good jump to and through both gaps when on time and squared. Secondary right-handed pitcher that starts from the windup, with a small side step into a belt high leg lift. Uses drop and drive actions down the mound, landing on line with the plate and staying on line through finish and extension. Gets some downward plane to the fastball up to 83 miles per hour, and mixes speeds well with a curveball that has 11-5 shape at 70 miles per hour. Verbal commitment to Kirkwood Community College.
