Addison Russ is a 2013 RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Amarillo, TX who attends Randall. Pitched last year at Junior College Lakeland College in Illinois, has a lean build with room to fill out and get stronger. pitches with a short loose arm action to a 3/4 slot, a little drop and drive mechanics but creates good down angle to plate. Ball jumped out of hand and had late life. Change up had late sink and run and flashed plus potential at times, he does good job keeping arm slot and arm action same. Mixed in 11/5 curveball with good spin. Aggressive on mound and went after hitters. Signed with Houston Baptist University. Named to Top Prospect List.
