Treyton Rank is a 2021 RHP/C/IF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Dominion Christian. Large frame with an athletic build. Ran a 7.31 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with a clean and compact delivery. Stays in line well with the plate and utilizing the lower half well. Quick and clean arm action in back into a three-quarters arm slot. Commanded both sides of the plate well with a two pitch combo. Creates extension out front especially with the fastball with late arm side life at 86 miles per hour. Mixed really well with a sharp 11-to-5 curveball with a tight spin and release. Created a lot of swing and miss at the plate. Also worked out as a catcher. Receives out front with both hands working through exchanges quickly. Hard carry down to the bag at 80 miles per hour and popping a 1.83 during workouts. Also worked out from the outfield. Attacks the ball well with athletic movements. Fields the ball out front with actions that work well into a quick exchange. High effort release with strong carry at 91 miles per hour. Also worked out from the infield. Circles the ball well and comes through. Smoothness to glove actions. Strong arm at 88 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a long swing path and looseness at the plate. Repeats mechanics well. Consistently made hard, line drive contact to the pull side. Very good student. Named to the 2018 National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to Florida State.
