Carter Lohman is a 2018 LHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Fishers, IN who attends Hamilton Southeastern HS. Strong athletic build with room to get stronger. Calm and simple delivery, lands a bit cross body and creates some angle to the plate. Steady upper 80's fastball up to 90 mph, mostly straight but thrown to spots. Change up was his best secondary pitch this day, good arm speed with lots of heavy life and sink. Slurve type breaking ball with a sweeping break, tends to cut his arm off out front on his breaking ball. Three pitch starter who will work to spots and try to stay out of the middle of the plate while changing speeds. Very good student, verbal commitment to Louisville.
