Colin Loeffler is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends North Paulding. Features an average build with some strength present. Ran a 7.46 60-yard. Flashed some ability throughout infield workouts. Quality hands caught the ball consistently. Occasionally feet get stuck. Needs to keep feet moving through ball transfer and into throws. Flashed some arm strength. Can throw from multiple angles. Developing accuracy will allow it to play more consistently. Utilizes a wide base with a high hand setup at the plate. Moderate leg lift timing mechanism transfers weight well. Uses linear bat path with the ability to get on plane early. Stays through the middle of the field. Strength translates fairly well in the box. Hits balls hard when barreled. Utilizes a clean, on-line delivery down the mound. Showed a clean arm path with a good finish out front. Could get into lower half more. The fastball sat in the low-80’s, topping out at 82 mph. Paired with a two-plane breaking ball that sat in the upper-60’s. Still refining command of both offerings. Has some swing and miss ability when located. Very good student.
