Cauy Williams is a 2017 RHP/C with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Taylorsville, GA who attends Woodland High School. Large frame, strong build with room to add additional strength. On the mound, worked quickly and utilized a utilized a three quarter arm slot with a slight drop and drive action towards the plate. Showed present arm speed and deception on the mound with compact arm movement. Showed ability to get slight cutting action on his 80-83 fastball that topped out at 85. Decent feel for 10-4 breaking slider that showed good tilt. Mixed pitches well. In the field, showed a strong arm across the infield and good receiving skills behind the plate. At the plate, even stance with a high hand set and pull oriented approach. Very good student.
