David Vazquez is a 2017 SS/OF/RHP with a 6-1 171 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Westland Hialeah HS. Lean and lanky athletic build, projects well physically. 6.79 runner, has middle of the field actions and athleticism, moves to the ball well with good hands, plenty of arm strength with carry, plays both middle infield and outfield. Right handed hitter, high hand load from an upright stance, has quickness to his hands and developing strength, line drive swing plane and stays on plane a long time, hits to all fields with gap to gap power.
