Blake Rohm is a 2017 OF/3B with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Superior, CO who attends Monarch HS. Tall and lanky athletic build, very projectable physically. Right handed hitter, has a nice short swing for his size and controls the barrel well, has nice bat speed that is just going to keep improving as he adds strength, solid mid field line drive contact. 6.92 runner, easy long strides, shows very good arm strength from the outfield and infield, makes accurate throws from the outfield. Quality two-way prospect, long and loose arm action on the mound, low effort delivery mechanics, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, gets downhill with good plane. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with nice life to it, works down in the zone consistently, got good fade on his change up at times, did not observe a breaking ball. Lots of projection in all areas of the game, will be interesting to watch develop.
