Bryan Arias is a 2015 SS/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Marshall. Arias has a lean athletic build. Hit from a square stance and high hands. Good approach at plate. Shows good bat speed and creates good leverage in swing. Hit multipule home runs during batting practice with good carry from a line drive swing plane and lift. Drove the ball all weekend. Defensively, showed off a strong arm with a quick transfer and release. Has smooth fielding actions and soft hands. Plenty of tools to stay in middle of field defensively. Also pitched, over the top arm slot, has effort in delivery but arm works and has good raw arm strength. Attacked with fastball with good am side run. Plus runner with 6.57 sixty. Good Student. Named to Top Prospect List.
