Carson Seymour is a 2017 3B/RHP with a 6-3 198 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Great Oak. Large, well-proportioned frame with solid build throughout and very good projection remaining as well. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.07 seconds. Hits from very wide spread, open stance with lots of moving parts both before and into swing. Has good strength off the barrel when squared up, some length to swing but leveraged, shows good jump to all fields and power will continue to develop. Showed quality 3B actions during workouts, actions are clean, moves well to both sides, solid arm strength across diamond up to 81 MPH. Pitched as well, arm works well to mid three quarters slot, shows solid arm speed with downward plane to plate, FB worked 79-81 MPH. Shows 11/5 CB as well, with solid shape and spin with developing sharpness. Projects well. Very good student.
