Eric Heatter is a 2017 LHP/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Jamesburg, NJ who attends Monroe Twp HS. Slender young build, plenty of room to get stronger. Multi-piece delivery with some energy but he repeats it very well and creates deception, mostly 3/4's arm slot but will go higher at times. Steady mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, good arm side running action at times. Slider has some late biting action and occasional depth. Solid change up with good feel for the pitch. Pounds the strike zone with all three pitches and has an idea what he's doing on the mound. Good student, verbal commitment to Rutgers.
