2014 PG Underclass All American Games
Dylan Carlson is a 2016 1B/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Elk Grove, CA who attends Elk Grove HS. Big strong athletic build. Has the athleticism to play both left field and first base, 7.11 runner at the PG Junior National, shows good footwork around the first base bag with compact, strong arm. Switch hitter, much more advanced right handed at present, power approach with strength in his swing from the right side, leans back and extends through contact, loose swing with bat speed. Left handed swing has a late pull back load and more length, hits from a crouch left handed and gets very uphill at times. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Cal State Fullerton.
