Austin Biggar is a 2016 C/OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview HS. Large frame with long limbs, broad shoulders, and athletic build. Good athlete, ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, solid footwork, gains ground with lower half, displays solid arm strength, popped a 1.82 on throw to second base in defensive drills. Right handed hitter, wide base with high hands set, medium leg raise trigger. Strength plays in rotational swing when lower half is on time, shows good bat speed and natural loft from line drive plane. Balls can carry off barrel, good power potential. Good student. Verbal commitment to University of Georgia. Named to National Showcase Top Prospect Team.
