Joseph Estrada is a 2014 OF/C with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Young athletic build, good present strength especially in the lower half. Very versatile athlete, can play virtually every position on the field and switch-hits. 6.64 runner, graded out best defensively as a catcher, athletic actions with quick feet and good arm strength, shows arm strength at all positions, looked solid at third base with a long, smooth arm, accurate throws and good hands. Similar swing approaches and tools from both sides, rock back load, sort swing, stays inside the ball well, good bat speed with some strength at contact. Very interesting player due to his athleticism and versatility and should keep improving as his skills mature. Good student, signed with Alabama State.
