Hollander is one of the most unrecognized prospect infielders in the country in our opinion. If he was 6-1, 180 with the same tools everyone would know his name, that’s for sure. As it is, Hollander is listed at 5-11. Hollander is a plus runner at 6.64 in the 60. His arm strength grades out as above average from shortstop but what makes Hollander’s throwing stand out is that he has an exceptionally quick release, one of the fastest in the country. Hollander’s bat plays large, too. He has outstanding power and the shortness to his swing matches his short arm stroke in the field. Hollander crushed a couple of doubles off live pitching and made consistent solid contact throughout the showcase. He’s a very good student who is signed to attend Louisiana State.
