Morgan Phillips is a 2011 SS/OF with a 6-1 192 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Frederick Douglass HS. Well proportioned athletic body, some present strength. Balanced hitting stance, early stride, gets to front side early, smooth easy swing, has bat speed, pull and lift in swing, present gap power, more strength/bat speed to come, will improve when he stays back better, has hitting tools. 6.93 runner, long infield actions, very good raw arm strength, tends to rush release, tools might play better in the outfield. Very good projection.
