Roidany Aguila is a 2009 C/1B with a 5'10'', 162 lb. frame from Guaynabo, PR who attends Nuestra Sra de la Providencia. Aguila is an athletically build switch hitting catcher. Showed very good arm strength behind the plate, quick feet with solid blocking skills. Aggressive approach from right side, serious bat speed and hand strength, hits to opposite field well, more of a contact type swing from left side utilizing his speed. Polished player who should keep getting stronger and better. He showed talent at the Metrodome.
