Mikel Belcher is a 2011 RHP/OF with a 6'5'', 195 lb. frame from Fort Walton Beach, FL who attends Niceville HS. Profile pitcher's build, very projectable. Long arm action, pretty smooth mechanics, good out front, FB topped at 81 with good arm side run, nice change up, efficient with pitches, good feel for changing speeds, didn't throw breaking ball, easy velocity projection. Showed arm strength from the outfield, sound fielding fundamentals. Smooth swing, rock back trigger, keeps swing short for size, some hitting tools. Good student.
