Fernandez was a wall behind the dish, displayed good footwork with a quick transition. Has a cannon of an arm, clocked a 1.85 pop time down to second base. Has the ability to throw from his feet and his knees consistently making firm accurate throws. Also swung the bat well, showed the ability to drive the ball well to both gaps.
