2021 Top Prospects

Tyler Smith  C - 2021 - Babylon, NY
St. Peter's

Smith worked out of a strong broad build and showed clear power potential in both BP and live AB's. He posted a 92 mph exit velo with a clean lofted stroke that produced consistent backspin and carry to all parts of the field. He displayed strong direct hands to the baseball with solid lower half rotation, especially on inside pitches.


2022 Top Prospects

Randy Ramnarace  RHP - 2022 - Brentwood, NY
New Haven

Ramnarace was a true all around performer, posting a 90 mph velocity from the OF while showing off the speed with a 7.16 60 yard dash time. On the mound, he topped out at 86 mph on the FB from a loose and projectable 3/4 arm slot. He pounded the zone and flashed feel for two plus off-speed pitches in the form of a fading changeup and high-60s slurve.

William Gumbrell  C - 2022 - Burlington, VT
Santa Rosa Junior College

To say Gumbrell has juice is an understatement, as he sent 3 moonshots over the fence with ease during his loud round of BP. He displays a lofted stroke with lightning quick hands, consistently getting the barrel out in front with great extension. Gumbrell posted a 93 mph exit velo and showed the ability to be a defensive threat as well with a 2.01 pop time.

Vito Demonte  OF - 2022 - Brooklyn, NY
Uncommitted

Running the FB up to 81 mph, Demonte sat in the high 70s for most of his 2 inning appearance with 3 strikeouts on the stat sheet. He used a strong lower half to create direct downhill momentum with cut and life on the heat. Demonte knew how to attack hitters and flashed feel for the 12-6 breaker. He also showcased the ability to be an all around asset, running a 7.40 60 time and posting 81 mph from the OF.


2023 Top Prospects

Harrison Campi  SS - 2023 - Manasquan, NJ
Wofford

Campi showcased the primetime defensive skills over the course of the event, consistently making tough plays look routine with soft hands and some zip across the diamond at 81 mph. He ran a blistering 6.76 60 yard dash which checks out when watching the pure range that he possesses on the left side of the infield.

Luke Marino  OF - 2023 - Croton-On-Hudson, NY
Army

Marino showed off the power potential in his round of BP by sending two nukes over the fence and posting an 86 mph exit velo. He displayed a multi dimensional hit tool by spraying line drives from gap to gap in addition to the raw power he possesses. Marino flashed a quick level swing with intent that he could repeat from pitch to pitch.

Jake Arnow  C - 2023 - Edison, NJ

Arnow was spectacular both offensively and defensively from the dish, posting a 1.95 pop time and a 93 mph exit velo respectively. The strong catcher had a cannon of an arm and hit from an even stance with a direct compact bat path and lots of untapped power potential in his stroke. He showed the ability to spray line drives from gap to gap with tons of bat control in the swing.

Zowen Collins  1B - 2023 - Canajoharie, NY

Collins impressed on the mound, running the gun up to 79 mph while striking out 4 over 4 innings of work. The athletic LHP kept hitters off balance with two solid off speed pitches including a fading changeup and a sharp 11-5 slurve with tons of late break. He worked corner to corner and wasn't afraid to pitch batters backwards. The uncommitted 2023 stood out at the plate, as he consistently impacted the baseball in numerous at-bats. The smooth left-handed hitting Collins displayed good barrel skills and long-term power potential.

Dylan McKenna  RHP - 2023 - Central Islip, NY
Lock Haven

McKenna was an interesting athlete on both sides of the field, posting a 7.41 60 yard dash time while showing 82 mph from the OF. The two way prospect did some damage both in the box and on the mound, running his FB up to 78 mph while going 2-4 offensively in game with a sweet line drive stroke and an 83 mph exit velo.

Alan (Trey) III Porter  OF - 2023 - Ambler, PA
Uncommitted

Porter worked from a wider slightly open stance and punished balls on the inside half of the plate. He showcased quick compact hands with lots of repeatability in the stroke. Porter has tons of projectability to him and flashed potential to create backspin with carry from a lofted swing path, posting an exit velo of 88 mph. The OF is also a clear threat on the bases, running a 6.97 60 yard dash.


2024 Top Prospects

Ryan Adams  C - 2024 - West Babylon, NY
St. John's

Adams is an interesting athlete with a solid catch-and-throw skill set. He ran a 6.94 sixty-yard dash and showed offensive upside at the plate with the ability to impact the baseball with authority during batting practice and game action. There is some physical projection remaining and he should continue to expand his present tools.

Michael D'Ambrosio  RHP - 2024 - Plainview, NY
Hofstra

D'Ambrosio is an immensely projectable right-hander that stands out due to his present 6'3, 205-pound frame and intriguing upside on the mound. He ran his fastball up to 80 mph throughout his three innings and flashed feel for spin with the ability to land it for strikes.


Free Agents Top Prospects

Josh J. Harrison  3B - Free Agents - Bad Nauheim, HE DEU

Harrison came into the showcase as a pure INF and left as an intriguing right handed option on the mound. He ran his FB up to 81 mph with life and arm side movement, commanding the zone with purpose. Harrison also flashed an 11-5 breaker with nice shape that could be thrown in any count.
